Hehuanshan: Five Peaks Above 3,000 Meters — 2 Days
Summit four of Taiwan's Top 100 Mountains on ridge trails above the tree line, with overnight accommodation at 2,500m in Cingjing.
Taiwan's Hehuanshan range sits above 3,000 meters and requires no high-mountain permits—a distinction that makes it the country's most accessible alpine terrain. Over two days, you will hike approximately 22 kilometers along well-maintained ridge trails, summiting at least four peaks while staying within sight of the tree line and spending a night at a mountain hotel. The route follows the Main, East, North, and West peaks of the range, each reached across open alpine meadow with unobstructed views across central Taiwan. A licensed, English-speaking guide leads the entire route, and private transportation handles the transfer from Taichung.
