India's Central Tiger Reserves — 16 Days

Corbett, Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, and Kanha by jeep safari, with temple visits and bird sanctuaries

This 16-day itinerary moves through four of India's principal tiger reserves—Jim Corbett in the Himalayan foothills, Ranthambore in Rajasthan, Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh, and Kanha in the central highlands—connected by road and rail from Delhi. The tour involves twice-daily open-jeep safaris in each reserve, guided by park naturalists. The route also incorporates the bird sanctuary at Bharatpur, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort near Agra, and the medieval temple complex at Khajuraho. Accommodation is in wildlife lodges and hotels near or within park boundaries. The itinerary begins in Delhi, includes an optional train journey to Sawai Madhopur for Ranthambore, and concludes in Mumbai or returns to Delhi.
