India's Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra & Jaipur — 3 Days

Delhi's monuments, Taj Mahal at sunrise, and Jaipur's palaces and forts — 2 nights, 3 days

The Golden Triangle connects three of India's most historically significant cities in a compact itinerary. Delhi holds the remnants of multiple empires — Mughal-era architecture, colonial structures, and the ordered geometry of New Delhi. Agra centers on the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum faced in white marble inlaid with semi-precious stones. Jaipur was laid out on a grid pattern and enclosed by a terracotta-pink wall that still defines its old quarters. The route covers Indian history spanning Mughal, colonial, and post-independence periods, alongside the architectural vocabulary of each era — from the geometric precision of Jantar Mantar to the functional grandeur of fortifications.

Highlights

  • Half-day sightseeing in Delhi: Jama Masjid, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, and a rickshaw ride through the crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk
  • Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal with a local guide, followed by Agra Fort — a Mughal fortress and royal residence.
  • Fatehpur Sikri — a city built by Akbar, now a collection of palaces and mosques set on a ridge.
  • Amber Fort in Jaipur — a hilltop fortress-palace reached by jeep, combining Hindu and Mughal architectural styles
  • Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) — a pink sandstone structure with small windows, built as a screen for royal women.
  • Jantar Mantar in Jaipur — an astronomical measurement park containing a stone sundial.
  • City Palace in Jaipur — a hybrid structure blending Mughal and European architecture, portions of which remain a royal residence
