India's Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra & Jaipur with Orchha and Khajuraho — 8 Days

Delhi to Khajuraho via Mughal capitals and medieval temple complexes, 8 days

This eight-day circuit traces three centuries of Indian architecture and political power across five cities. The route opens in Delhi, where Mughal monuments and British colonial structures coexist in a modern capital; moves south through Agra's Taj Mahal and Agra Fort; then west to Jaipur, the eighteenth-century planned city of the Rajput kingdoms. The second half of the journey extends eastward to Orchha, a medieval fort complex built by the Bundela rulers, and concludes at Khajuraho, home to a tenth-century temple cluster known for its sculptural detail. The itinerary balances major monuments with less-trafficked stops—Fatehpur Sikri, a sixteenth-century Mughal capital abandoned after fourteen years, and the palaces and cenotaphs of Orchha—and includes guided walking tours, monument visits, and overnight stays in each city.
