Nepal: Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan — 7 Days

UNESCO temples, Himalayan lakes, and jungle wildlife across three regions

This seven-day itinerary moves across three of Nepal's principal regions, beginning in Kathmandu's old city where Hindu temples and cremation ghats line the Bagmati River, then westward to Pokhara on a six-hour drive through hill country, and finally into Chitwan National Park for lowland jungle and wildlife activity. The route combines cultural sites dating to the medieval period, lake-side geography at altitude, and wildlife encounters in one of South Asia's largest protected forests. Private vehicle transfers connect each leg; accommodation is twin-share in established hotels and resorts. The itinerary does not include climbing, technical trekking, or high-altitude acclimatization.

Highlights

  • Chitwan National Park jungle activities — forest walks, canoe rides on the Rapti River
