This nine-day itinerary moves through India's most-visited Mughal and colonial monuments—Delhi's Red Fort and Qutub Minar, Agra's Taj Mahal and fort, Jaipur's palace complex—then shifts north to Kashmir's alpine terrain and waterways. The first four days follow the established Golden Triangle route by road; days five through eight are based in Srinagar, with day trips to Gulmarg's high meadows and Pahalgam's river valleys. The route assumes a flight from Delhi or Jaipur to Srinagar on day five. Accommodation ranges from city hotels to houseboats on Dal Lake. An English-speaking guide accompanies the entire journey; private vehicle transfers cover all intercity travel and local sightseeing.

After breakfast, the day covers Delhi's principal historical sites: India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Raj Ghat, and the Lotus Temple. In the afternoon, the drive to Agra follows the Yamuna Expressway. Overnight in Agra.

An early transfer to the airport precedes a flight to Srinagar (approximately two hours from Delhi or Jaipur). Upon arrival, transfer to a houseboat or hotel on Dal Lake. The afternoon includes a Shikara (traditional wooden boat) ride on the lake. Overnight in Srinagar.

Drive to Gulmarg hill station for Gondola cable car rides and nature walks. Seasonal snow activities available. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.

A day trip to Pahalgam includes visits to Betaab Valley and Aru Valley along the Lidder River. The scenic drive and walking allow time to observe the river landscape and surrounding meadows. Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.
