North India's Imperial Triangle: Delhi, Agra & Jaipur, then Udaipur — 8 Days
Delhi's Mughal monuments, the Taj Mahal, Jaipur's palace architecture, and Udaipur's lakeside palaces
This eight-day journey moves through four cities that together trace the architecture and political geography of North India's Mughal and Rajput kingdoms. Beginning in Delhi, the route visits Humayun's Tomb (built 1569–70 by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas) and the 73-meter Qutab Minar, a UNESCO site dating to 1193. From Delhi, the itinerary continues south to Agra, home to the Taj Mahal—the marble mausoleum commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan—and Agra Fort, capital of the Mughal dynasty until 1638. The path then turns east to Jaipur, where Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded the city and commissioned the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical site completed in 1734. The route concludes in Udaipur, where the City Palace and lakeside monuments reflect nearly 400 years of Mewar dynasty construction. Throughout, accommodation, private transportation, English-speaking guides, and daily breakfast are included.
