Sattal Lake District Cycling — 3 Days
Mountain biking through the Kumaon foothills, with stays at V Resorts and optional lake activities
This three-day cycling trip is based in Sattal, a cluster of interconnected freshwater lakes in Uttarakhand's Kumaon region. Participants stay at V Resorts and cycle on mountain bikes across terrain linking Sattal Lake, Bhimtal, and Naukuchiatai — three of the district's largest lakes, each ringed by forest and hills. The itinerary mixes guided cycling with resort-based recreation, bonfire evenings, and optional activities including kayaking, boating, birding, and trekking. Meals and bikes are provided; the pace is moderate, suited to riders with basic fitness.
