The route traces across the eastern Himalayas, visiting Bagdogra, Tsomgo Lake, passes and river valleys. The journey includes stops at the Yumthang Valley (known for alpine meadows and hot springs), Tashi View Point above Gangtok, Seven Sisters Waterfall, Rabdentse Ruins, and several Buddhist monasteries. Travel throughout relies on private vehicle transfer; road conditions vary seasonally. Permits are required for certain higher passes. The itinerary balances driving days with full-day excursions to individual valleys and monasteries, with minimal free time built into the schedule.

Our representative meets you at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and transfers you to Gangtok—a 4–5 hour drive through the foothills. After hotel check-in, the evening is yours to visit MG Marg, Gangtok's bustling pedestrian centre. Overnight in Gangtok.

2Tsomgo Lake and Baba MandirTsomgo Lake · Baba Mandir · Gangtok · Nathula Pass

A full-day excursion from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), a glacial alpine lake. The drive climbs through conifer forest to reach the serene shoreline. Visit Baba Mandir, a memorial shrine in the high-altitude zone. Optional visit to Nathula Pass available subject to permit availability. Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Morning sightseeing covers Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre, and Banjhakri Falls. In the afternoon, drive northwestward to Lachung through forested terrain, passing waterfalls and river gorges. Arrive by late afternoon. Overnight in Lachung.

4Yumthang Valley Excursion & Return to GangtokYumthang Valley · Gangtok

Post breakfast, head to Yumthang Valley – the Valley of Flowers. Visit the natural hot springs and spend time amidst the alpine meadows. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

5Ravangla and Buddha Park to PellingRavangla · Buddha Park · Pelling

Drive south to Pelling via Ravangla, stopping at Buddha Park for its spiritual atmosphere and panoramic mountain views. Check in to your hotel on arrival and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Pelling.

6Pelling Sightseeing and DepartureSkywalk · Rabdentse Ruins · Rimbi Falls · Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station

Visit Pelling's highlights: the Skywalk's valley views, the Rabdentse Ruins, and Rimbi Falls. Depart for Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.
