South India: Bangalore, Mysore & Ooty — 7 Days

Garden city, palaces, and hill station tea estates across 270 kilometers of South Indian geography

This seven-day route moves through three distinct regions of South India, each with a separate character. Bangalore serves as the entry point—a city built around botanical gardens and colonial-era palaces. From there, the journey heads to Mysore, 145 kilometers south, home to the nineteenth-century Mysore Palace and the sandalwood markets of Devaraja. The final leg climbs into the Nilgiri Hills to Ooty, the Queen of Hill Stations, where tea estates occupy the hillsides and the landscape shifts from dry plateau to mist-covered slopes. The route allows time in each location to move at a settled pace: two nights in Bangalore, two in Mysore, and two in Ooty before returning south to Bangalore for departure.
