South Korea by Bike: Seoul to Busan — 9 Days

Cycle the Han River, DMZ approach, Four Rivers Path, and east coast from Gangneung to Sokcho to Gyeongju, ending in Busan.

This nine-day cycle tour moves across South Korea's primary cycling infrastructure—the Han River paths, Four Rivers Bike Route, and coastal eastern roads with support, accommodation, and a local guide. The route begins in Seoul with an introductory ride along the Han, progresses through the DMZ buffer zone to Cheongpyeong, then climbs inland through forest and river valley to Gangneung on the East Sea. From there, the tour follows the coast north to Sokcho and its North Korean refugee community, then turns south through Gyeongju's royal burial mounds and cultural sites before finishing in Busan with a train return to Seoul. Accommodation ranges from hotels to glamping; meals and local context are provided by an English-speaking guide.
