South Korea: Seoul, Hanok Villages & Jeju Island — 9 Days
From traditional hanok architecture in Jeonju to volcanic terrain and coastal views on Jeju, traveling by train and domestic flight through three distinct regions.
This nine-day itinerary moves from Seoul south by train to the hanok village of Jeonju, then by private vehicle through the Damyang Bamboo Forest and Boseong tea fields to the coastal city of Yeosu. A domestic flight carries the group to Jeju Island for three days of volcanic landscape, waterfalls, and coastal exploration before returning to Seoul for final free time. The route requires regular walking, train station navigation, and the ability to carry luggage independently. Transport relies on South Korea's train network, domestic flights, and local transfers; most days involve four to six hours of either walking or seated travel.

1Arrival in Seoul: Welcome Meeting and Orientation Walkcentral Seoul · Cheonggyecheon Stream · Myeongdong · hotel lobby or reception
Arrive in Seoul and spend your day at your own pace. The city is navigated by public transportation and on foot. Use the morning and afternoon to rest after travel, acclimate to Seoul's train network, or locate practical essentials like supermarkets and ATMs.
In the evening, meet your CEO and fellow travellers for a Welcome Meeting at the time and location posted in your hotel lobby or available from reception. This covers tour information and logistics.
After the Welcome Meeting, join the group for a local dinner.
Following dinner, your CEO will lead an orientation walk through central Seoul to ground you in the city's layout and key services. The walk takes you through Cheonggyecheon Stream, an 8.4-kilometre public waterway running through downtown Seoul, and Myeongdong, a commercial district with street food carts, shopping malls, and entertainment venues. The walk is approximately 1–2 kilometres and takes 45–60 minutes at a moderate pace on paved, level ground.
Be prepared to carry your luggage through train stations and busy streets. Comfortable walking shoes are essential. You will depart Seoul tomorrow, though you will return later in the tour.

A guided tour (approximately two hours, continuous walking on uneven ground) covers Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Jeondong Catholic Church, the Korean Liquor Museum, and the Jeonju Handicraft Exhibition Hall.
In the evening, sit down to a Hanjeongsik dinner—a traditional Korean multi-course meal with multiple small banchan (side dishes) representing different aspects of Korean cuisine.
Optional activities include renting a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) and having your hair styled, or visiting the Hanok Village Craft Museum to try hands-on traditional crafts: hanji (Korean paper) shaping, pottery throwing, calligraphy, or decorative fan painting. These activities take 1–2 hours.
