Southern Luzon: Volcano, River & Rural Heritage — 3 Days
Manila to Pagsanjan via Taal Volcano, Tagaytay highlands, and Villa Escudero plantation — 3 days with private transport
This three-day route moves south from Manila through Southern Luzon's layered geography: Taal, the Philippines' smallest active volcano, sits in a crater lake near the heritage town of Taal. The journey continues to Tagaytay, a ridge town overlooking the volcanic landscape, then descends to Villa Escudero—a former coconut plantation converted into a rural-living resort—before ending at Pagsanjan, where upriver canoe expeditions navigate Class II rapids. All transport is private and air-conditioned; an English-speaking driver accompanies the full route, with on-site trekking guides provided where activities require them.
