Sri Lanka: Kandy, Sigiriya & Safari Circuit — 4 Days

Temple, rock fortress, and wildlife across central Sri Lanka's cultural heartland and national parks

This four-day journey moves through Sri Lanka's central cultural region and wildlife reserves. The route begins in Kandy, where the Temple of the Tooth Relic remains the country's most important Buddhist site, then proceeds north to the Dambulla cave complex — a UNESCO site with roots in the second and third centuries BC — before ascending Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another UNESCO property and former royal palace. The itinerary then shifts toward wildlife, with evening and morning game drives through Minneriya and Wilpattu national parks, separated by a village and bullock cart experience. Throughout, accommodation includes three nights in mid-range hotels with breakfast provided, and all transfers occur by air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver.
