Sri Lanka: Rainforest & Fort — 3 Days
Sinharaja trekking and Galle Fort, with transfers from Colombo
This three-day itinerary divides time between Sri Lanka's southwestern rainforest and its colonial-era coastal fort. The first two days are spent in Sinharaja, where early morning bird-watching trails and rainforest walks occupy the schedule; the third moves south to Galle Fort, a Portuguese and Dutch military structure. Ground transfers total approximately seven hours across the three days. Accommodation is provided at a rainforest eco-lodge and a coastal hotel; an English-speaking driver handles all transfers.

- Trekking through Sinharaja's undergrowth and secondary growth paths, spanning the second full day
- Walking tour of Galle Fort's ramparts and interior structures, built by Portuguese forces and later occupied by Dutch colonists
- Late-afternoon walk to a tea estate village adjacent to the rainforest lodge
