Sri Lanka: Tea Estates, Highlands & Jungle — 7 Days

Nuwara Eliya tea plantations, Horton Plains trekking, and lowland jungle stays across four distinct regional hotels

This seven-day route moves through Sri Lanka's central highlands and southwestern lowlands, anchoring itself at four separate properties. The itinerary begins in Colombo, then climbs to Nuwara Eliya, the country's highest city and centre of Ceylon tea production, where two nights permit a full day's trekking in Horton Plains National Park. The route then descends to Koslanda for a guided jungle walk through private forest, before finishing in the coastal wetlands of Kaleliya. Each location offers distinct geography and a different accommodation base — from a heritage tea factory converted to a hotel, to a jungle lodge set within primary forest. The pace is unhurried, with transfers handled by English-speaking drivers and all park fees and activities included.
