Taj Mahal & Agra: 2 Days from Delhi

Agra Fort, Taj Mahal at sunrise, and Fatehpur Sikri — 200 km overland round trip

This two-day round trip from Delhi covers the Mughal architectural landmarks of Agra and the abandoned imperial city of Fatehpur Sikri. A representative meets travellers at a Delhi hotel or airport and drives them southeast to Agra via expressway — a journey of approximately three hours and 200 kilometers. Day one includes visits to Agra Fort, the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, and a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh. Day two begins with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal itself, before a drive to Fatehpur Sikri, which was made the political capital of the Mughal Empire by Emperor Akbar. Travellers return to Delhi the same afternoon. The itinerary includes hotel accommodation, breakfast, a guide, and air-conditioned transport throughout.
