Forest ascent to high-altitude glacier, 28 km round-trip trek in Himachal Pradesh

The Triund and Snowline Trek departs from Dharamkot, near Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh, and covers 28 kilometers over three days across varying terrain: dense forest, alpine meadow, and glacier. The route rises through the lower Himalayas to Triund Hill, then continues to Laka Got glacier before descending back to the starting point. The primary activities include forest hiking, high-altitude camping, and interaction with snow at the glacier terminus. Accommodation consists of tent camping at both overnight locations, with all vegetarian meals included from Day 1 lunch through Day 3 breakfast. The trek operates year-round except during the monsoon season, when precipitation makes the trail hazardous.
